Cali Gaston - Great Bell Acupuncture

Education

Undergraduate

I graduated Johns Hopkins University in 1984 with a Bachelors degree in Humanistic Studies, focusing in particular on Latin American literature.

Registered Nurse

Nursing school allowed me to meet all the science requirements for graduate school, and this background helps me hold a balance between allopathic and energetic medicine.  I graduated with honors from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 1996 with an Associates degree, and spent 3 years working as a psychiatric nurse while I attended The Traditional Acupuncture Institute.

Licensed Acupunturist

I graduated with a Masters in Acupuncture from The Traditional Acupuncture Institute in 2000.  I am licensed to practice by the Commonwealth of Virginia having passed the NCCAOM examination for acupuncture.  The Traditional Acupuncture Institute is now Maryland University of Integrative Health, offering degrees in acupuncture as well as other areas of health and well-being.
